I feel I must a leave review of LJ, because after 10 years of camming, only this site makes “my blood boil” grrrrr
It’s not fun and it’s tough to make decent wage as a webcam model on LJ, their rules are ridiculous & too strict. You constantly worry if you have done something wrong as they dish out bans & penalty’s for the slightest thing.
In my experience, traffic levels are not great either, but you will regularly have a couple of admins in your room, watching you like hawk for any mistakes they can penalise you for.
They are slow to pay, and not generous either, only paying 25-30%. They are quick to reduce their pay-outs for any infringement of their rules and if you are splitting your cam over multiple sites, then don’t expect to make your full percentage either. Any reduction in your video or sound quality will likely result in a further 5% reduction per incident. Be careful, as you could easily find yourself working for nothing!!

I will update my review stating there are the more clueless keyboard nerds when it comes to difference between categories. They intrusive. Unprofessional. 11/17/2024 UPDATE: They closed my account and the only thing that they said was that I am in violation of their TOS. I have read my contract that I signed with Camsoda (11/11/21) and I do not see any violation that I may have committed. I believe it was because of one of their Camsoda Affiliates that I reported to them and their DMCA/Lawyer. The affiliate in question was and is still using my model name "brand name" (CammiCams) as their own. Plus, their model name and my onlyfans links to redirect my traffic to show up in a Google search! This person is not even a cam model! She is a blogger! I have had my brand names (cammicams & cammi cams) and my websites CammiCams.com & Cammi-Cams.com for 15 years! Anyways I’m trying to be on Stripchat again and having some fun.
I really loved this site for a long time. Yet it went from really good to really bad starting last October. The cam lag was so terrible 😢. I just couldn’t stream. I did everything I could to try and fix it. When all my other cam-sites like Chaturbate MyFreeCams worked fine. I tried contacting support they just said the problem was on my end. They asked me to do a speed test I did, and never heard back from them. I went from 27 fan club members to 9. Christmas season I had one good day then couldn’t get back on more cam lag. It was like someone from the site didn’t want me there. I saw other models just banking. 😭 Sadly I went to Chaturbate to cover my losses. Now the site works just fine. No more cam lag. And seem my room is less than 16 people in it mostly greys. Very disappointed ☹️. I use to have so much fun there.

Here is my review of Streammate. I would definitely recommend this camsite. This is my 3rd week working on Streammate. The first two weeks as a new model, the traffic was awesome! I really worked the site and made really good money. It took me over a week to get approved. I applied 10 times but it was definitely worth the persistence (read everything very carefully). Most of the guys are nice and spend time in my private chat. My payments have been on time (ACH Direct Deposit). Traffic has slowed down a bit this week but I’m still getting traffic and members are spending but I just have to work more hours. I’m hoping to continue to make good money for the weeks to come but overall I highly recommend Streammate; just be patient with the approval process and after that, this site works well for me. I also love that it is a premium site and the members are verified. Make sure you know the rules, like all cam sites , some guys will try to get you to break them. Don’t fall for it. Be Smart. I’ll update this review in a few more weeks but so far so good.
UPDATE: Since Rutger reached out to me via email to inquire if my opinion of Streammate has changed in these last couple weeks.
This is week six and I am still enjoying the site. I’m still making the goals I’ve been setting for myself. There have been some software technology issues at times like suddenly disconnecting some private and exclusive viewers or my live stream stopping but I just log off and re-log in and the guys generally find me again and the show goes on.
Traffic is still good. I have had several repeat viewers who are amazing and love lengthy shows so Streammate is still working well for me.
I’ll update you at the 3 month mark but so far so good. I still highly recommend this premium site.
I also like that Streammate hosted a livestream workshop for cam models and performers.

Sure you can get a unexpected 12% show and that's why they made available other additional private rates for whoever finds that situation uncomfortable. I see the bonus credits as a incentive for my customers to buy more and more and that's why I have brought a few to the site with my referral link.

If a site is giving out FREE Credits to it's Members, then you look at your earnings and see a deduction in the payout percentage. Wouldn't you be pissed off and say that is NOT what I agreed to? The site is ripping you off, if you don't know about the 12% Payout BEFORE the Show.
Now if they where telling the models before the show and have the models agree to do the show or not, then that's different! But they are not or are they? The last that I heard they are not telling the Models before the show! Also, by telling the model BEFORE the show and having THE MODEL agree to the 12% payout. Would prevent Panic Attacks! After they look at their earnings AFTER the Show and say hey wait a minute I thought that it was 30%. Which is way to low to begin with!
All Sites should be paying their models 50% or more! PERIOD! Oh and lets not forget if they use a Coupon which would make the payout percentage 0. Again you don't know this until AFTER the SHOW!

This happened 6 times from 2019 until 2022 and they would not have closed my account. If they had words like Skype or URLs BLOCKED! Which they don't and if they did! F4F would not have closed my account!

@CammiCams, you are spot on. They used to be a decent site and had good admin a long, long time ago. The site has gone downhill. They never listen and should of fired their CEO a long time ago. 12% when they want?? Damn thieves! Cut should always be 50% !
