I personally don’t do privates at all. I let them know that I only do VIP shows even if they just wanna talk and i kindly invite them to join VIP which i setup to 15 credits at the moment but i plan to change to 20. Most of them join. Who doesn’t and keep staying in private i simply ignore them and they get out for themselves. Yes, i did get some bad ratings but good customers keep it up also.
You can make nice money if you take time to chat in private show... I often have 2 or more guys, chatting four hours.

I joined ImLive 8 years ago when I was still a newbie. The site was great but unfortunately everything has changed for the worst since 2018/2019 when management team was changed.
They first introduced the bonus credits, which was fine in the beginning. As the years go by, they keep reducing more and more our comission for it. All sites offer bonus credits for members - but only ImLive give us peanuts for them. It's straight up disrespectful to us. Imagine you're having a intense sexual private and you don't know how much you're getting paid! As soon as a customer takes me private my first thought is "oh my god, how much am I getting paid for this?".
June 2022 they reduced even more everyone's comission with the excuses that they were giving us more features to monetize and more traffic which really never happened. We all felt a drop in the business since the pandemic ended, but they didn't want to lose any money so it was much easier to just eat our comission even more. Privates became rare on this site, it almost never happens.
Payment used to get into our wallets in just a few hours after pay period was over and now it takes 5 days. They changed their payment partners for cheaper ones.
Software is absolute garbage. I can't even express how bad it is. I dare you to go to ImLive.com right now and check it yourself, preferably by mobile, as most users are using mobile nowadays. It's choppy, laggy, there's a big zoom in our faces which doesn't make any sense, it's so bad. Compare their software to any other camsite and you will see what i'm talking about!
They lose so many customers because of their horrible software but instead of fixing it they keep offering more and more bonus credits to keep them on the site! The customers want a stable, high quality software; THIS will make them stay in private and spend more, not a bunch of free credits.
Last year they offered a stupid, unnecessary feature called "Share Screen". They spent tons of money on it and they swear it makes customers stay more in our privates to watch porn together. Stripchat's customer service has some people in it that seem to not understand ANYTHING you message them and are scripted messages!! I got my very first Lovense toy and while trying to hook up to their site I got suspended! It kept wanting to use OBS, which I had never used on their site before. So I was trying to launch the Lovense and the OBS at the same time. In this process, I was suspended from their site for 7 days because they say I was away from the camera!! I was right there THE WHOLE TIME, what????? So I emailed them about their mistake 5 times and NOT ONE PERSON there can help me. I am suspended for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!!! If you really want to make money sell yourself cheaply, $1-$2/min and do everything under the sun and accept all abusive men and the endless stream of entitled freeloaders who will expect you to chit chat on skype FOR FREE and not get a show...but they do get off at YOUR expense. Working on this site is slave labour and they are cyber pimps

I live in Italy, but I speak English as my primary language. And the customers in my room were 90% from Italy but nowhere else. Maybe this is the reason why I wasn't successful on this platform. I speak Italian but apparently I can't seduce guys to pay some tokens for me (language barrier.)
I made 50 bucks working here over 10 hours. Customers just ask for 'free' stuff and overall environment was way too pushy. A lot of italian models on this site get naked for free, and do things literally for free.
I had to give up on this site after trying for one week. Really wanted to give it a shot since I loved the overall UI of the site. Peccato!

Traffic is good but too many freeloaders.

I used to have that problem, but what I had to do that weeded out the freeloaders was change the settings to where only those who tipped that day get to chat on my wall. Otherwise, you'll most likely get bombarded by too many freeloaders asking for freebies or wanting to chat with you on apps outside of chaturbate

normally the payment is fast, although by far you need polish bank account. And now the tricky part. The site is going through changes so they freezed money withdraw. Apparently its happening every year. Im waiting now, lets see. They saying they will add option to get pay for another bank accounts not only polish.

Money are transferred by tips, private groups and private shows. But you dont get paid for a min like on other sites so its nice to keep interaction with people and have a personality to show. What happened to the traffic? Traffic is the main reason why models choose Streamate. I'll have 10 potential users but my room will be empty for the majority of the time I'm on. Uploading media is annoying and not being able to promote social media is so weird, because that can potentially make them more money. On top of models only getting 30% there seems to be no incentive left to continue camming on the site. I'm tired of reading other models complaining about the drop in traffic and there's been no communication from Streamate about it.
