I wish I could just attach a screen shot to explain everything I loathe about MGF in some simple photo. I am uploading it instead to to my profile, along with the caption "Why MyGirlFund is Ridiculous"
The percentage they take, plus the additional fees they tacked on really eat up a lot of your earnings. Additionally, they payment method they use to pay the models is Payoneer, which also charges a small fee.
The specific fees MFG charges the models are a "35% service fee" along with a cash out fee of $5.00 usd.
To illustrate how large of a percentage of your earnings this truly is:
If you made $27 on MGF the amount you will walk away with after all of the fees is a total of $7.55.
So $27 on MGF = $7.55....thats roughly 25% of your actual earnings you take home.
Now, the astronomical amount of money you end up making for other people aside, MyGirlFund has found many other ways to suck at life...
One being that you are absolutely prohibited from advertising your personal website, or any of your social media links...
But~ MyGirlFund is more than happy for you to embed their banners on your personal website and more than happy for you to advertise your model and affiliate links on your social media...
Mix in a clunky site, slow traffic, and low quality customers who expect very low cost customs and freebies.
Overall: This site is gross. Hard Pass.

I reviewed Streamate before not long ago, a lot has changed, completely changing my view of them. I've given up working there. I'm somewhat new to camming - started in March. Streamate was my first site. There were the usual slow days and bumps in the road after newbie period wore off. Things did slowly start picking up, I was getting some regulars here and there and I felt good about how things were going. A broadcaster update, contest in April seemed to set me back again. I had so many issues with the broadcaster, members telling me me feed is freezing, they couldn't hear me, etc. So of course not too many stuck around and I lost money. Their support was no help - "uninstall and reinstall. Make sure you have good lighting, nothing running in the background". Their answer was literally just copied and pasted from the support page.
But all the bugs with update seemed to eventually work their way out and it slowly picked back up around early May. But I noticed a drop in traffic to my room, members didn't stick around for longer than 2 seconds. A couple regulars couldn't come in my room and asked if I had banned them from my room before, which I've never done to anyone. Couple other regulars thought I had left the site altogether. But still seemed to be all getting a little better, but making less money.
Mid-May, enter another Broadcaster update and another contest. This update was awful - they should feel embarrassed. I would start broadcasting, 10 minutes later my feed would go crazy and freeze and pixelate. It was never a simple fix. It would take me 45 minutes to fix! Calibrating to different quality settings didn't help, different quality settings and not calibrating didn't help. Every troubleshooting thing you can think of, I tried and it didn't work. I emailed support, filled out that whole form on the support page telling them exactly what was going on, sent computer specifics and screenshots. 3 days later I hear back "could you send us screen shots and your computer information". Admittedly, I was not in a good mood each time I emailed support but I was never rude or mean.
Again, the tech issues kinda sorta cleared up or at least didn't take as long to fix. But my traffic was almost non-existent. I was going 1-2 hours with virtually no one coming into my room, those who did were usually gone in less 2 seconds. When I did get members who did stay, they constantly told me the site kicked them out, or they don't know how/why they got logged out. Private shows were few and far between, almost all of them ending abruptly. It was a miracle if a private show could last longer than 5 minutes.
I tried so hard to be patient, it could only get better right? It never did. The only thing I was giving Streamate credit for was their payment, they were always paying on time like clock work and never missed a beat. Until now. They now have not paid my last 2 checks, totaling $400. The first time I messaged them about this, they said "check for delays at the post office". It's going to cost me $50 to get those checks reissued, which they are dragging their feet on. It's been back and forth emails for 6 days now and no closer to any resolution yet.
I know websites are going to have issues, that camgirls have slow days, etc. But this was too much to take and I find it odd that things only got worse each time I contacted (and yes, complained to) support. I'm back at the bottom, trying to build myself up on other camsites now. I'm done with Streamate.

To put things simply, a client from this site literally said "I'm going to sabotage you, oops I think I lost my card, better call and cancel it."

something similar happened to me- I had done a LONG show and got paid on it- 3 months later almost she put my account in the hole and showed me some screenshot that she lost a charge back fight with the guys bank- but i had done the show so i dont know why i had to pay for the whole entire thing- but i do not think thats fair- there is a chance if you do work and a guy has buyers remorse it will get taken from the model no matter what

Though the traffic is different, I have met people who were willing to stay for hours in paid chat also. About my willingness, I was using toys only in Exclusive, so who wanted toys, he knew what to do. I gave it a try for 1 month and noticed if you pay attention to the site sufficiently, the results will come. Anyway, I am used to other sites, but overall, XModels is a good site.
About the top, think about the fact there are models broadcasting exclusively for this site since years ago and listed in top of front pages. According to my calcules, they reach up to 5-10 k a month if they stay long online.
Indeed there are some who will stay in group chat for hours just to talk a bit about normal stuff. I am going to give it a try for 5-6 hours without long breaks and see what happens. Do you suggest setting it up for group or leaving it free for everybody? Thanks.
I'm having a hard tim figuring out the payout. I love the dashboard though. It has so many nice tools to use. I also like the color and the layout! Very eye popping.

You will have traffic on this website, but it's really hard to rely on it because you might have a whale or two. Not 20 paying members a day.

I had so far. From disconnecting me to not allowing me to swap Member Chat (I swapped, it looked to me as I am in Member Area, but on my Member account I was still seeing myself in Freechat).
I tried working on that sight but they either didn't accept me or lost my application. I never heard back from them.
So I am not the only one who is experimenting bugs on the website these last days... I hope they fix it soon

No live support, just via e-mails. Very good, user friendly software. Just that I had something again Freechat sounds when Members and Guests were entering my room. Had the sound turned off for a while, but then I couldn't hear the tips, because I just can't select turning off Members entrance in freechat sound 
Anyway, no errors at all. Members are not in a hurry in the paid chat, but fuck me, so many cheap beggars there as if model rates would be astronomically lol.

Live support. About using their SuperCam Console software and using the old fashioned browser, there is no difference at all. The software just needs a higher upload and that is the only difference for me. Many errors when pausing my stream, but that's not the end of the world. Anyway, the rest is very OK and I am pleased.

No live support, just via e-mails and possibly phone, I don't remember. Rated it 4 stars for the Payment since ImLive had chargebacks (I haven't had any at that time, but was scared 'cause of them after every paid session). Meanwhile they publicly annnounced there won't be chargebacks anymore, just in fraud cases. Also, I don't like that I can't see my online room in order to check my feed-they don't offer such a possibility as it is on Xlove. So, I needed to create a Member account and use licensed vpn running on a laptop next to me in order to check my room without unbanning it. The same I did with every site.

Still I see other problem, you rarely could be registered 2 times, since we check the real names before approving any model. The only possibility is, if you were a model in a studio, and get your independent account. But if you didn't get your money at first time, why you tried the second? Sounds strange to me.

This is my dream camsite, The software provided works like a charm, tech support available live at all times of the day and have a chat to contact right away no waiting on emailing me back. Payment I get paid daily,weekly or whenever I feel like it into a pay card and there is only one fee which is only $9.95 per transfer. I love this feature if I need money today I work today and get paid today is awesome. Traffic is great I always have at the minimum at least 20-25 verified members in my room which means members that have their credit card on file and over 1,000 guest members who are not allow to speak just watch which is awesome weeds out the freeloaders. I make very good money on this site. I average $100 per day working 3-4 hours a day. I fully recommend it. only downside is chargebacks even though I only got hit with these in the beginning when I first started as my new girl wore off I haven't been hit with any chargebacks. Other than is pretty much the perfect site for me
