Very cheap clientele! Cheaper than pennies sites! haha Best to use it as a teasing site and go voyeur when privates from another site that pays higher. I mostly do ppm sites so I will not be doing hardcore ever on that site as I dont do public cum shows.

The GOOD: For a new site, I think they definitely look great! Professional layout and the BongaCams desktop app is impressive and good and not as heavy as the other streamers I use.

I work with chat recruit which is in partnership with XxXpanded.com this is the first cam site i signed up for iv been working with them for 2 weeks now. All the earnings you make with chat recruit is yours they DO NOT! take a fee you must reach a minimum of �50 to withdraw the money to your bank account. iv managed to reach the minimum payout so far.

I love Cam4 because of its support for the models. The site has coaches, who teach everything from chat tools to ideas for new shows. They also have a training page. I already worked on another site before going there, but what I know today I learned in Cam4 training.
The site support is also very good. I've always been answered quickly. Kim is very cool and approachable, she is always willing to help.
The site is more flexible, it allows you do skype show with customers as long as payment is made through the site.
As for the traffic, maybe it's not so good, but I have my doubts about quality. I have seen several times cameras with many views and no income and also cameras with little traffic and big gains. So I guess that's relative. This on Cam4 I don't know if on other sites this influences.
As for the freeloaders the site has three tools: expel from the room, silence or banish. You are free to use these tools.
You also have tools to select the audience: only for those who have tokens, choose the sex of people to talk to you, allow only people who speak your language to chat.
If you want, you can block your country for privacy. But if you have problems with this, better rethink before entering this environment, because there are many people who change the IP, to be able to see the cameras blocked.
I have another profile there that I speak only my native language, but always have people from my country in this my profile which is blocked.
As for the payment, I always received it correctly.
About software, I find it easy and intuitive. From time to time it has some problems, but usually happens when the site is working on new tools, so it doesn't bother me, if it's for something better later.
This is my opinion and experience with the Cam4.

I loved CamFuze!! But now it is BongaCams and it has been virtually impossible for me to get their user interface to work.
Used to be I could make an average of $25 per hour on this site, plus I regularly got the top cam prize, which was awesome and very motivating. When I went on last month and discovered my account was now a user account I was extremely frustrated. I was back and forth with Bonga support for 6 hours trying to get my Bonga account set up only to discover that because my IE 11 browser is BS and glitches, I cannot cam in HD. Then when I try to cam regular it will say I'm online, but time me out saying I'm not broadcasting. URGH!
It's a horrible turn around. I miss the small scale and the closeness I had with my regulars. I REALLY miss the fact that there were only 20 girls online at a time, so competition was pretty much non-existent, leading to a much better environment between the cammers. I worry about some of the girls who were on there from low-income African areas who used this site as their sole income. I hope they are doing well. You girls are in my thoughts.

Cam4 was my first site because they offer something that no one else does: Free Model Training...
I LOVE Cam4 because of NikkiNight and Boyhous. These two people make the whole site. Unfortunately, the site is seriously lacking in a lot of other ways that make it a no go for me personally. The main issue is the quality of the traffic. If you aren't selling yourself for cheap you will get a lot of complaints. Seriously, 60t per minute is NOT a bad price for a high quality private show. But the users here are only willing to pay 15-30t per minute, and even then they would rather phish a free show out of you for 40 tokens if they can.
I really wish Cam4 would advertise to a higher quality audience. Maybe this is because they allow peeing on cam and shows in public places? I honestly like that they allow those things (more options please), but I do think it attracts audience members that don't like to pay.
The rating system is also frustrating. Anyone can rate and they will intentionally rate you low if you have industry standard prices. If someone comes in to your chat and complains about your pricing, ban them immediately before they get a chance to rate. They will also rate low for a myriad of other reasons; maybe you don't have any nude photos on your profile? Or you're not willing to show your tits for free? Cam4, please change the rating system so that only fans and tippers can rate.

Exactly why I signed up on cam4: because off the more flexible rules like public shows, peeing etc. And I do make money from it. 'criticize your every wrinkle' : not really, I'm 45 and on the bigger side, hardly ever anyone complains about that, they like the way I am. Theres a lot off freeloaders on cam4, u are right about that. But that's they are still 'living in the past' some off these guys. because cam4 used to be free. If I get someone in my room complaining about that, I just block them.

I worked on CB for about 6 months. This was my second cam site within my first week of starting as a cammodel. The beginning was pretty good because I was new. I only earned $100 the first month, working about 20 hours a week. A lot of guys took advantage of the fact that I didn't know what I was doing however. I worked part time for those 6 months and the most I earned was $700 in one month.
I'm sure this is model error. I don't know how to keep people engaged and I get bored quickly. Near the end I was only earning $100 in a month and had to quit it. I noticed a huge influx of the non-paying audience to my chat. There would be 100 people in the room, no one tipping, and tons of grays filling the page. I turn off grays now, I think I was too accommodating of them. I recently tried the site again and I can't get out of the non-paying audience, even under a different name. I think CB is ruined for me. I only get 7-15 people in my chat now, regardless of title, visuals, games, high energy level, etc. It's time to lay the beast to rest.
I really love this site, so I gotta say, I'm heart broken. I will still go to chat with other models, I think it's way fun to hang out there. But if you're not on the first 3 pages you're not gonna earn money. I love the apps and bots because I can code my own programs and games. I love the support. I've had issues in the past with harassing users reporting me as underage as a form of revenge, those users and all their accounts were swiftly banned after a short interlude of my own account being de-activated due to the auto report system. My account was swiftly re-activated and support was always attentive to my needs.
I think the traffic is only good if you're a certain style of model: High energy, thin/athletic, HD Cam with bright colours, good music and flirty. If you are lacking some of these things there are also a few models who earn bank doing privates only. The private strategy can work really well for people who can only get 20 viewers or less in the chat. Don't give it away for free, reserve 'samples' for tippers, focus on niche/fetish stuff, have really good bandwidth. In fact I think the private girls probably make as much or more than the top 10 girls. So it's a good strategy.

I've been on F4F for a year, and have a loyal following. That's the best thing about the site - the customers are very loyal. Unfortunately, since the site takes a such a high cut, most of my customers take me private around once a month, and that means I need to keep getting new ones.
My pet peeves about the site:
- Inability to scroll back in the chat window
- Lack of control over power score, especially if I need to limit my hours
- Low pay rate - it's less than a third for most
- Constant contests make the site super competitive every few days, so it's hard to get new customers
- You have to work long hours to get a mediocre wage
- Most of the money comes from privates, not tips. Hardly anyone tips in free chat.
- They are paranoid about any outside contact, and you can be banned for even saying or typing the work Skype.
- The email system has a delay so it's hard to coordinate real time with customers and you can't talk to them outside the site (except on Twitter) so very challenging.
I still like the site due to my regulars and the fact that some of these guys have taught me so much about camming, and made me feel like a supermodel.
I simply need to make more than I can on this site for the time I put in!

I really want to like Camsoda, I really do. Their support is amazing and they have been nothing but kind to me, but... the traffic is so dead. I realize they're a newer camming site, but it's kind of disappointing. I get alright traffic on different camming sites, so I am finding it a bit sad!

I think Skyprivate is the best site for skype shows. All the people want to pay per min, if they stay only 2 or 3 min they don't want to pay 5 or 10 min. They can call us from their smartphone, it's very easy to do it, because many camsites have problems with their software, the quality of the video is great, and guys love skype shows ppm. So the traffic is amazing.
The plugin works perfect! And it helps as a lot. The settings are great we can manage many variables from our profiles.
The only thing we have to manage well is the timewasters. This is the main thing for me.

Yes, money is money, if I can't I don't answer but if I am free I don't have problem with 2 min show.camming live (I do on Streamate) is the same
Anika, you can set up the SkyPrivate plugin to reject callers who don't have enough for a 5 minute call to avoid this problem.

@KMH - Can you choose the "min show credit amount" or is the feature locked at "5mins"? Either way, It's nice that you can automatically reject people without credits. I enjoy the indy show concept, mostly because I know exactly how much I'm going to make before I start performing. When I worked on a SM, I knew I was working x-hours or until I made x-dollars so short shows were fine but I feel like short skype shows would just annoy me.

No, you cannot set the minimum amount, which is a shame.
You can, however, set the minimum amount for a member to view your Skype ID, which is FANTASTIC (I have it set at $9.00 which has worked great for me in regards to reducing timewasters), or remove the minimum altogether.

It's okay to be nice but it doesn't mean you get tips for being kind. I may try it again once I become famous. Until then I will find a site that will actually notice me.

Yes, the guys are VERY cheap on this site but this is how I use them to my advantage: Staying in the Top 100. On every other site I laugh at seeing myself in the top 10 when I am at 6000 lol but on Bongacams EVERY model has a chance to earn extra money and I have made paid payout twice already just on the extra money. I do A LOT of teasing and get those 1-50 token tippers but it adds up to points to move up the ladder. Sundays you earn double points so you rack up before the new pay period starts. It works for me to not have to do a lot in free chat and still be able to make payout.
