Since the main site concept of the site is Premium, you have an Open chat area. Here the member and the model meet for the first time. Any form of sexually explicit content in free chat is disallowed. A member can request a private chat and when the model accepts the private session starts. During the Private chat, LiveJasmin uses, per second, billing.
Besides the chat, LiveJasmin users have access to various functionalities of the site. You have for example the SmartBuy option and Cam2Cam.
The Smart Buy feature allows members to enjoy private shows without interruption. By taking out a subscription, the members account balance is automatically topped up when it is lower than 7 credits. By default a member gets a package of 27.99, but they also have the option to change the SmartBuy purchase amount.
Cam2Cam is a feature that allows you as a member to share camera feeds with the model in the Private Chat. The feature can be enabled by clicking the camera icon to the left of Models' live camera feeds. Cam2Cam is only available on HTTPS and SSL websites.
There is also the Two Way Audio feature that allows you as a member to talk via audio to performing models in Private Chat. It is important to note that not all models have this feature available and may incur additional charges per minute.

I enjoyed camming on LJ except the administrators closed my account without any warning. They truly are paranoid. Some guy saw an inactive Twitter account and asked me if that was me, I said yes, he went private, and when I went to log in the next morning, account closed. If a customer in private repeats his Skype address and I don't admonish him, account closed. A good site to work for but be extremely careful. They blame you for everything and certainly don't hesitate to show you the door. The moderators really need to lighten up,, it's competitive enough, and one would think they would have the courtesy to communicate their draconian actions before they execute them. There are two sides to each story but not at LJ.

i was a model on LiveJasmin for an extremely long time and they did a lot of bad things but one thing was definitely the last straw: they exposed me in free chat while I was in a private on another site and have set my account to be private (went to member chat) so that literally everyone saw my show for free.

Oh, LiveJasmin! My first love, how you disappoint me lately! Been on it for 5 years, so here is my current opinion.
*Traffic got from very good (quality) a few years ago to rubbish one nowadays when everyone is free to make an account and come piss girls off, without ever paying. Moreover traffic seems so be mysteriously dragged in certain rooms, usually studio girls, while the independent girls get the ton of freeloaders or empty room. FOR FREAKING HOURS! This situation was not common 3-4 y ago. It seemed like everyone got a chance back then, now the equality of chances is just a dream. And yes, that happens even if you got the required tech stuff and you got a schedule and all the mojo jojo required.
*Maybe the most disappointing part of the site is the so called support. No matter how many times you try to solve a problem, you will always get the kind of robotic guy or girl, who repeats obsessively the same lines. Sometimes I guess it's a copy paste. There is no real help! Always putting the blame on you for not getting traffic, when actually the problem goes way deeper than the model's fault.
Here are 2 examples to understand better how Jasmin's support works : if you get disconnected "by the server", oh well, your internet sucks when in reality all the other sites work just fine without being disconnected.
Pictures or videos? Sure! upload them and pray, hard, because it really depends on the supports mood if you get them approved or not. It happened not once but a couple of times to upload a picture, having it rejected and approved the next day by another person. Same damn pic!
To sum up, I really don't know why they turned camming into a hassle for the independent models (don't know about studio ones).

Those that take awards and recognition, those that tweet their LJ support compliments while they stream live... those girls are meat. They stay on ridiculous hours just because they share half. Imagine! You work 1 week for yourself, the other for an asshole that sleeps at night on your brainfuck. Yep. The site changed. Quantity and low quality. The profile pics look glam, the girls look... like other persons. I browsed for 1 hour. I found 2-3 nice girls that had that typical bored frustrated face.

yeah they do not take in consideration if your not their studio models that you do not have or can afford expensive lighting, camera and studio model cam room....there traffic is too crappy for me too honestly, Just nothing but freeloaders and time wasters and they hate to spend and especially if you are $3.50 over a minute sigh
If you want work with higth rates here you have to have ice body, luxury room, alot model here and they work for 1.99.. But i better do camsplitt when work for 1.99 . So alot anoying freeloader writing you all day, and no willing go private.

Lot's of hassle uploading a good picture. Tried like 60 photo's none was good. Wasted a lot of time creating them and even hired a photographer. But unfortunately they all got refused while some of those photo's landed in a magezine. Sorry Jasmin your site is to picky while i just want to earn money for ya.

Yes! I will have to agree! I signed up with LiveJasmin thru DailyPay Services Studio out in the UK & had that original "professional" cam account where none of my photos were ever approved either & I got docked from 30% to 25% b/c they would never approve my video quality b/c I did not have an actual model cam room such as their studio models have while performing & they showed no empathy what so ever when I told them I am poor and did not have that kind of money to spend on a fancy bedroom suite and decorations like those studio models they sent in a link have and support flat out said I know u don't from looking at ur stream!! wtf? I never made much on there but while I had new model status last Dec on that LJ acct I did manage to get a few spenders which made me easily reach the $50 payout for Daily Pay but I could only set my rate at $3.50 and after my new model status was over no paying traffic after that or any traffic at all so I decided to have another account open up for the Amateur cam model category where u don't need any pictures on ur profile (which I would have at least liked to have a main profile pic on my profile and at least some photos available for the fan base but that was not an option when u switch down to the Amateur category!! Worse mistake I made with LJ was to switch to Amateur category to receive my 30% percentage with no deduction for video quality or photos from the main acct! Since I did this...I can not even make payout anymore and I never get any paying traffic on there anymore & seems the free loaders on this site since the switch went up by 90%....I even went down one time to $1.98 a minute to see if the traffic was just that cheap but nope!!! No one spends on that site.. It's about as lame as Streamate and IMlive for me now!
I got approved video qality easy, just chat with support, have camera logitech 930,a profesonal lighting, i bought from ebay about 60dollars. I not had fancy room when i started but i decarate with some pillows and it was ok. I remember when i started it was so alot privates, i without picture i earned 120 dollars firstday, i even not had a webcam, i worked with laptop with integrated cam..When i got money i bougth webcam. I did everything steb by step, as they require. But i want earn more and no ear more when 200 in a day :-( I
I have photography lemps, but sometimes i hate it.. Sometimes i acsident break the bulbs, or my cat break the light bulbs.. Once i was break the bulbs and not had another one, so i cant work on jasmin if no ligth

Jasmin, my love... or what it used to be! I work here (still) for 5 years now, first year from a studio, independent after. The last 2 years i felt things are becoming unpredictable.
Traffic: lots of free chat members that never but NEVER said a word or came private. Still... they are always in my room, for my whole schedule, waiting for the amazing opportunity the site gave them: free sneak peaks. I feel the paying member portfolio for independent models is getting more and more difficult to build, even if you spend generous time online. This is due to the fact that Romanian studios that have humongous amounts of models, need to promote them. Therefore, the site makes deals of keeping these models on front pages. Working in a studio, i got the chance to feel that. The front pages are just a few so... independent models, no matter how good they are or what technology they use(i have high tech working tools and a professionally built profile with various pictures and plenty of artistic videos), will try to make themselves seen in the bulk. Even if the support tells you that in order to succeed you have to complete your profile here and there, stay online and tease to attract members, the awards usually go to studio models with very poor profiles that are declared to earn 15K/day and in free they just plant themselves like furniture.
I strongly believe that independent models should have their own category. There are lots of members that appreciate that.
Private chat recording: unfortunately, the free sneak peak and the impossibility of blocking them allowed hackers to record whole days of activity, including the moments of Member Chat when you get dressed and maybe blow your nose... All of it, uploaded on sites that don't respond to DMCA rules®ulations. Jasmin seems to be hands tied, and despite of all the requests i made to intervene in the story, no result.
Support: this is a luck matter. Sometimes you find very receptive people, able and willing to help. Other times, they have no idea what they talk about and give copy/paste politically correct answers like robots.
The interface is nice and friendly. I love it!
The model's wall is not easily visible and it is not interactive.
Paying is always on time and i trust them dearly.
Now:
1. i want to build myself a studio and i don't feel i could help my girls in this crowd Jasmin became. What would be a good site to begin with?
2. As an experienced independent model, i am still looking for a site that can value quality to replace Jasmin

So you think working on Lj as a independent models is not really working?? I just ask because i want to start working on LJ.
I myself have been on Live Jasmin after getting my account set up with Daily Pay Services for Daily Payments-When I 1st got on LJ Dec 2017 when my account was freshly new I made around $39 and that was split camming and was only on for 3 hours testing it out. I think I set my rate at the time to $3.49 a min...I was never able to go back on there b/c never had time while my other 2 sites I have been working on to bring me at a much higher ranking on the pages ask for you to stream in there HD Broadcasters for better placement . I got back on there Mid March after over a 3 month hiatus and now my placement is shot (hence none of my nude and non nude profile pics are approved b/c they are not professionally done and I do not ave a professional video to upload so I was probably on the back pages possibly when I 1st started on there anyway. This time around March 2018 and I got on and worked for at least 4-5 hours I managed to make money here and there to finally get my payout and made around $109 with Dec 2017 income added. However, I have noticed now that traffic is not the same when my account was new in Dec and I raised my rate 50 cents higher to 3.99 a minute which matches my other 2 cam sites I work on and now customers complain I am too high and I have noticed it's like pulling teeth on there to even get private shows like my other 2 cam sites I work on. I probably need to find a way to try to work on this site at least 10-15 hrs a week instead of every now and then and find what the best times my time (USA EST) to log in to find paying traffic. I managed this past Sunday to make $10.91 working 4-5 hrs on there. Also I stopped getting on when I went back to LJ in March b/c Support refuses to approve my video quality saying I need to get a better cam (have Logitech C615 &want to get the Logitech C920 but I do not have any money right now to upgrade. Support also will not approve my video quality b/c I am not rich and do not have the fancy cam model bed and the fancy cam model 2 nightstands and fancy lamps like the studio models all have! So they deduct my earnings -5% which is 25% commission when I get shows from the free chat room. Also, Live Jasmin likes to steal ur money by docking you $5 and even $10 at a time for leaving your room for a brief second to run to the bathroom...They took $15-$20 from me in March earnings which pissed me off so I am scared to go work on there like I should. Rule to abpid by if you want to keep all of ur earnings is to log completely out of the broadcaster for Live Jasmin if you have to get up and be away from ur cam even if it's just for 1 minute b/c they will dock you and the penalties will add up!!!
I also have noticed a lot of freeloaders in free chat will demand you to stand up, show tits, show ass and as soon as I tell them no nudity in free chat they leave and if I tell them show ass is a $5 or so tip etc they bolt as well. I Also have came across a few customers on LJ in free chat that will want to talk to you for hours in free chat which will make you take away from attention in ur other rooms if you are split camming and also those customers will never pay for a private show or tip you anything and had one of those customers this past Sunday ask me for skype which I denied I have and told him all shows have to be done on the site. I am still trying to figure out this site and how to fit it in with the other sites I work on. i am not ruling it out completely only b/c I feel possibly if I eventually can work on this site regularly and put in the hours I could make more and sometimes dedicating all my time and energy streaming in HD Broadcaster for Streamate (am now on page 2 finally in rankings) with Streamate I never make anything occasionally when I go on and spend hours on SM I could make $20 - yesterday on SM I managed 5 hrs in HD broadcaster and made $29. I am hoping to make Live Jasmin a #2 site in place of Streamate & bump Streamate #3 but have noticed the paying traffic has lowered a lot since Dec 2017 on LJ (Which across the board for me all the sites I am on have had same issue in regards to the traffic.)
Also there are customers on there that will frequent your free chat with a screen name of Live Jasmin Admin with a [certain#] and they will repeat over and over you have a Premium VIP Member requesting for a VIP show will you accept? Then they will say it's a skype show but you will be paid thru Live Jasmin! These are trolls on Live Jasmin that are fake customers trying to get you to give them free skype shows. I talked to online support about this and copied and pasted them the conversation and Support told me those were not the real Live Jasmin Admin and when they come into your rooms you will be able to tell the difference with there log in and that Live Jasmin will never ask you to go off the site to do a show for a member which I already knew that is why I reported that customer but LJ has not banned the member b/c every so often when I am on the site I get the same crap from the same fake admin so I tell them he is a fraud and I have already contacted support about him then he immediately leaves until the next time. So annoying!
LJ indeed brought a lot of "cheap" traffic, but they also managed to drive away many good paying members by always promoting the same "stereotyped" studio girls...
Most of my good members told me that they come far less on Jasmin because it became boring to see always the same girl doing the same things...
Things are still very good for me on Jasmin thanks to my regular, but I realkly hope that they will change their strategy, because at this rythm there will be no paying members left to watch the models of 2-3 studios!
If anyone from Jasmin reads this, I would love to be able to discuss this during Bucharest Summit! (but please, no politically correct answer like "we do not make any difference between independent models and studio models" or " we promote a glamour image (vip shows and scheduled shows....)"

if you want earn more if u put 1.99 rate it is like magic alot privates, but it is so frustrating for me if i put more thian 2.99 and more , i 10 hours only 1-2 in privates, so much time waste for free.
Brittany I did get a new account established with LJ a couple of months back to switch to the Amateur category to receive my full 30% percentage but all I found was 90% more free loading cheap traffic than before and now when I get on that Amateur account I can spend 4-5 hours on there with not a single tip or private show!! I also did lower my rate on there on my Amateur account to $1.99 a minute and I still never got paid shows being on 4-5 hours. 99% of this site is just all trolls that do not have lives in the real world but too cheap to tip and pay for shows. I am actually done with camming full time now anyways as I finally after being unemployed for the last 1 year & 4 mths have a career again in Medical Billing with awesome starting pay! I should be back to work in the next couple of weeks with that career! (Thank God)!!! I spent the last 1 year & 3 months camming on probably 50 plus sites or more during this time and even split camming, putting in sooo many hours to only make $800-$1100 a month which is extremely low pay and below $8-$10 a hour here in USA with taxes taking out! better work on girl category, and buy new webcam in ebay you can buy logitech 930 fro 70 dollars, and you can buy lamps for 60 dollars from ebay too, and try to get approve video qality, buy some pillows, cheap decarations, search photographer who can make profesonal picture, i found my photographer in facebook, and first pictures he maid me for me, and made me a video. Now i pay him to make for me pictures and videos. Try inprove to get selected and u can earn more. I earn 2000-4000 in 2 weeks on livejasmin. I work now for 2.99. 3.99 is so hard work here, i have tried work for 3.99 in weekend it worked good, but normal day so hard work for 3.99 no privates all day. I work 2 years in jasmin, now i can get easy privates for 2.99. And i have 2 acounts. But one my account lost selected model status because video i have not 1 min, before requirement was min 30 second video, and they increased it for 1 min. i will go do longer videos with my photographer

hard to comepete when alot models in jasmin is for 1.99.. This is a based on my perception as a complete beginner webcam model. I'll go by Pros and Cons.
Pros :
1. The customer support is incredible and 100% available anytime 24/7. This, I tell you, is quite phenomenal.
2. With a few hours of work, it's easy to jump from 30% to 40%.
3. They offer FirstChoicePay which works like a charm. 1% fee only if you wish to get your payment quickly after the end of a period. A period lasts 15 days. By the end of it, wait maximum 3 days and "boom", make it rain in your pay account!

As Guests, they are not asked to go in private by the models since they obviously cannot do so, therefore, they don't get annoy by models sending pop-up invitations saying "want me to warm you up" or other techniques. They just sit there and enjoy the show.

But the first thing I've noticed and hate is the fact that I can't upload any pictures to my profile since I have an amateur account. Contacted support and they told me they will create pictures from my cam feed. Now that sounds awful.

The first two weeks were absolutely amazing. I got the bonuses for video chats and private chat. I have my regulars that call me but somebody can ruin your whole chat with a lot of viewers by bringing you into a private chat for 20 seconds. You lose your whole room pretty much because of that 20 seconds for someone to verbally abuse you and call you a dirty w**** and to demand you take off your clothes in 5 seconds. I don't know about you but I can't get fully naked in 5 seconds. I say this sites great for the first couple weeks and also the first two week bonuses or if you hit 100 hours each week but after that it gets down very slowly and unless you have your regulars that call you and you make 20 to 40 per private call with them I wouldn't be making anything without them.. so overall not terrible but yeah they were very strict about your appearance of your room the bed sheets the decor told me I had to go get a framed photo and put it on my wall. If that's what the customer is looking at then we got a problem here.
