We just launched a new tool: username availability checker
You can use it to check if a username is taken or not on some of the mayor camsites and social media networks.
So far, we've integrated Twitter, Instagram and Youtube. And Chaturbate, ImLive, LiveJasmin, Cam4, Streamate and Xmodels.
The information is not 100% reliable but it could definitely help you with setting up a new cam persona.

Survey camming research
A few months ago I was contacted by Angela Jones from Framingdale State College, about her study of webcamming. She told me that she has already spoken to a lot of models here from wecamgirls that have contacted her. The study will be published as a book by New York University Press. However, she would still like to survey and talk to more models. That's why I'm reposting this.
