Interview with Annemanifique

Today, I have the pleasure of speaking with Annemanifique-a successful and recognizable presence on Chaturbate. I had the chance to connect with Anne during the Bucharest Summit, and I'm thrilled to dive deeper into her journey and experiences in the camming world.

Let's start with the basics—how old are you, and where are you from?

Well, I'm already 30, and I'm from Romania.

Are you open about your work with friends and family? Do they know you're a cam model?

I have to admit that in the beginning, I was a bit afraid to open up about my work, but now all my family and friends know. I've learned that my job is nothing to be ashamed of, and now I just ignore anyone who is judgmental about it.

What first drew you to the camming industry, and how did you get started?

It has been a very long journey, but it all started when I was at university studying biology. In a psychology class, I had a revelation that I wasn't where I should be, so after a month I decided to leave school and move to Bucharest. Being new in a big city, I decided to go to a studio to become a cam model and make a living. Once I earned some money, I started out on my own, and here I am now.

Is webcam modeling your full-time job, or do you combine it with other work or projects?

Yes, it is indeed my full-time job. Sometimes I combine it with being a trainer for girls who are just starting in the industry.

How would you describe your on-camera persona or style as a cam model?

Honestly, I'm the same as I am in real life: brave, confident, and friendly. I don't like to pretend to be someone else. I always have a smile on my face and am ready to meet new friends.

Which platforms do you currently perform on, and how long have you been active there?

For the last 8 years, my entire focus has been only on Chaturbate. Even though I tried other platforms, Chaturbate will always remain my one and only. I'm close to reaching 1 million followers there. (https://chaturbate.com/annemanifique/)

Do you have a personal website where fans can follow or support you outside of the cam site?

Yes, of course! I'm on OnlyFans and LoyalFans too, under the same name "Annemanifique."

Have you set up a dedicated space in your home for camming, or do you work with what you have?

Currently, I work from my living room where I have all the equipment that I need: camera, lights, and of course, my toys.

Can you tell us about your very first cam show? What was it like?

Thinking about my first day as a cam model now, I could have never guessed I would get this far. I was in my room with a trainer friend, and I was shaking from head to toe. I even started to cry when someone asked me to have sex on camera with a man. Of course, I refused. For me, being with a man, even now, is more intimate, and I'm not willing to do it on camera. I was really camera-shy in the beginning, but I got through that, and now I am more confident and proud of who I am.

Has being a cam model had any impact—positive or negative—on your personal or sex life?

I can say it only had a positive impact. It helped me discover my body, boost my confidence, and build my career.

What's your favorite part about being a cam model? What keeps you motivated?

I love meeting new people, getting to know them, and hearing about their fantasies and lives. I'm open to learning new things and, of course, having some sexy time. My motivation comes from people who appreciate my work, compliment me, and consider me a friend. It's really nice when you feel like you are helping someone.

And on the flip side—what do you find most challenging about the job?

The biggest challenge is dealing with the haters. Some people will just troll and talk badly only to make you feel bad, but I'm used to it now. I just play it cool and ban them.

If you could go back in time and start over, knowing everything you know now, would you still choose this path?

I wouldn't change a thing. Everything that has happened brought me to this point in my life. I wouldn't be the same person I am now—happy and proud of myself and my path.

How do you see the camming industry evolving? What's your general take on where it's heading?

Honestly, considering how AI is evolving, I think real human interaction will become a niche, like BDSM is right now.

Do you have any funny or memorable moments from your cam shows that you'd like to share?

I do have some memorable moments indeed. The one that I can think of is when we were still in the pandemic, and I worked from a pool with four other girls. We got to be ranked number 1 on Chaturbate after only 50 minutes online and stayed there until we stopped the show.

The funniest moment was when me and two girls were in a private show with a girl, and a huge flying bug got into the room. We all tried to kill it because we were so scared. The girl who took us private was laughing at us so much. We used so much spray to kill that bug that we made ourselves dizzy, but the bug was still alive! After about 30 minutes of fighting, we finally got the bug out. Just imagine three girls running all over the room trying to get rid of a bug. We had to log off after because we didn't feel well from all the insecticide. It was bad at the time, but now thinking about it, I think it was so funny.

Looking ahead, do you have any goals or dreams outside of cam modeling?

Yes, of course! I want to travel and enjoy life as much as I can. I want to start a studio again and help other girls to be as successful as me.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out as a cam model?

I would give the same advice someone gave me that helped change my life: You have to dedicate many hours, sometimes even 14 hours a day, in order to reach the top. The more you work on your dream, the faster it will become a reality.

And finally—do you have a personal motto or mantra that guides you in life or work?

Yes: Get a job that you love and you'll never feel like you're working.
