Tristan published: In the Spotlight with BigBellaNova

In the Spotlight will be a new returning topic on WeCamgirls. The first one to kick off is BigBellaNova. Thank you for your time and enjoy the read!

How old are you and where are you from?

I am going to be 30 for at least the next 20 years. That's My story, and stick to it I will! I'm South American by nationality, East Indian/Spanish by ethnicity and I have a British-ish accent. Go figure, lol.

Is webcam modeling your day job?

Being a ProDomme is My full-time job, and I cam everyday as part of that. Additionally, I'm a Marketing Consultant - this gal wears several hats, don't ya know :)

How did you come in contact with the cambusiness?

As fun as Marketing has been, it's a very saturated industry - and as a freelancer, I've had to compete on a global scale, which isn't always successful. I've always been pro-sexwork, but didn't exactly want to hike up My non-existent skirt on a local corner. I started small, with phone sex, and loved it, but earnings were meager. I spent a few months looking at camgirls for hours a day (in My mind, camming is a natural progression from being a pso) just to get a feel of what would be expected of Me. I researched all the sites and made My decision. At first it was scary but almost a year in now on Streamate, and it's one of the best career moves I've ever made.

How would you describe yourself as a camgirl?

I wouldn't, actually. I often refer to Myself as a virtual performer, simply because where I make the most money is in Real Time sessions. The term sex-worker has a beautiful and appropriate ring to it, for Me :)

Where can we see you and how long have you been working there?

You can see Me on Streamate/cammodels and on Skype or you can hear Me via My podcasts on Tumblr. I've been doing Skype sessions the minute I got set up with Payoneer (an online payment processor, if you didn't know). All in all, I've been on both platforms in a virtual performer capacity for just over a year.

Have you also been working on different sites?

I only cam with Streamate as My big box site, but I do promote and market My services via a plethora of Independent Camgirl sites like CamGirlCollective, CamModelDirectory and CamgirlServices.

Do you also have a personal website?

I own My domain name, does that count? Lol. I want a perfect, simple website, but I'm all thumbs when it comes to doing it Myself. At the moment I use My tumblr and CamGirlCollective accounts as dual home-bases.

Do you have a special room prepared in your house for your shows?

I live alone in an annexed apartment, it's like a big bedroom sans kitchen. I keep it clean, nice-looking, and functional for what I do. I'm not a big fan of people per se, so I don't have many guests, but friends who are allowed to come over, always smirk when they see My bowl of cocks and tripod just hanging about nonchalantly, lol.

How was your first modeling experience?

I don't think I ever modeled, do selfies count? J/k. The first time I got on cam and was taken to a private session, I thought "please please please please please don't ask Me to do anything with My pussy for the love of gods I am not ready!" Sure enough, he wanted to see My junk. After trying to kill time by snail-crawling into bed and spreading My legs, he tipped Me and said "it" was beautiful. This made Me uncomfortable. As a Lifestyle and ProDomme, pussy is very seldom on the table. I didn't think I could be ok with doing this as it went against My personal and professional nature. As a result I restructured what I will and won't do on cam. While this IS a service based industry, I'm not going to do anything with which I am uncomfortable or that doesn't make Me happy/money. Pussy is a prize/reward for regulars who have proven themselves to be submissive or slaves. Has this cut into My earnings? Probably, but I am much happier and more comfortable with the sessions I engage in - they truly are on My terms.

What's the most appealing thing about your job?

The financial independence it has afforded Me. I now have savings. I pay My bills comfortably (for the most part). I can invest in the things I want. The financial independence is aphrodisiac!

What do you like least about your job?

The volatility. There have been weeks when I made nary a dime, despite putting in the hours, promoting like a madwoman and producing content like crazy. When you get used to a weekly paycheque, it's difficult to fathom/acclimatize to not making anything in 5 - 7 days. It rattles Me on the inside. But like everything, it too passes.

Do you have a funny story or experience to share?

Recently I had to do a tease and denial/cuckolding session with a high-spending regular on Skype. He pre-paid and I was excited as all fuck…then on the night of our session, I began surfing the crimson wave. Typically, I just do period fetish shows during that time of the month, but this client wasn't into that. Having not worn a tampon in eons, I was beside Myself trying to work these new ones, with all their high-tech applicators and shit. I looked at YouTube vids, read forums…the whole shebang. No dice. So in bed, legs spread, I finally managed to get that sucker in…now what to do with the string? I tried tucking it in, but for the spread shots and with all the lube, it just kept…surfacing. So I tried to cut it…while I was wearing it…with a pair of seamstress' scissors…damn near circumcising Myself (I'm a big girl, there was a lot of belly to maneuver). Long story short, I got it done and the client was none the wiser. To add further hilarity, when I told My besties (Dahlia Dee and MamaRedHot), once they were through laughing their assess off, both said that they would have helped Me, had I messaged them earlier :). Good times…

What are your plans for the future besides cammodelling?

The semi-long term plan is to move to Canada for a while, work with a couple dungeons there, attend some FetCons, and accommodate more Real Time clients. The RTs that I do now are infrequent because I only session with foreigners (Europeans and (North) Americans) - the whole process is really expensive for the client, once I'm still here (South America). I'm hoping that being in Canada will change that. Beyond that, I'd love to have My own dungeon in Germany…zee Germans adore Me :)

Any tips for new camgirls?

Treat this like any other job. Have a schedule and be on time. Be consistent. Do your research. Upgrade your skills and equipment. Use informational forums like this, to garner the inspiration and information you need to be good at what you do. Additionally, until you see the money, keep it in your panties, ladies :)
