Username Colors

• Orange names are reserved for broadcasters, the individuals who host the live stream.
• Red names belong to moderators, users entrusted with maintaining a respectful environment in the chat.
• Green names indicate fan club members, loyal followers who support the broadcaster.
• Dark Purple names are given to users who have tipped at least 1000 tokens in the past 2 weeks, showing their generosity.
• Light Purple names represent those who have tipped a minimum of 250 tokens in the past 2 weeks.
• Dark Blue names signify users who have tipped at least 50 tokens in the past 2 weeks.
• Light Blue names belong to users who either own or have purchased tokens.
• Grey names are for users who have no tokens, indicating their non-tipping status.

These distinct username colors help create a visual hierarchy within the chat and make it easier for broadcasters and moderators to interact with their audience.

Apps & Bots

Apps and Bots are invaluable tools on Chaturbate that empower broadcasters to customize their chat room experience. These features are developed by community members and come with a wide range of functionalities. Here's what you need to know about them:

• Apps & Bots Overview: These tools can automate chat notices, set goals, play games with viewers, and even moderate chat automatically. Apps have more advanced features, including controlling who can see your stream and managing content within the App panel below your broadcast.
• Open Source: Apps and Bots are written in JavaScript and are open source, meaning you can either create your own Apps or have a developer build one for you. This open nature encourages innovation within the Chaturbate community.
• Apps & Bots API: With the Apps & Bots API, the possibilities for creating engaging games and chat room enhancements are virtually limitless.

To access Chaturbate Apps and Bots, simply go to "Broadcast Yourself" and click on the "Apps & Bots" tab. There, you can explore and add various Apps and Bots to enhance your Chaturbate experience.

Moderators

Moderators are an essential part of maintaining a healthy and respectful chat room environment. These community members assist broadcasters in moderating their chat rooms. 

• Selecting a Moderator: It's important to take your time when choosing a moderator. Building trust with a community member is crucial before granting them moderator privileges.
• Moderator Responsibilities: Moderators engage with viewers, enforce the broadcaster's rules, and encourage tipping to reach goals. They also handle unwanted comments to allow the broadcaster to focus on their show.
• Removing Moderators: If you're not satisfied with a moderator's performance, you have the authority to remove them as your selected moderator. You are the ultimate decision-maker in your chat room.

Reporting Abusive Moderators: Just as with abusive users, you can report any abusive moderators to Chaturbate support for appropriate action.

Controlling Your Room

Chaturbate gives you control over your chat room settings to ensure a tailored experience for your viewers. Here are some key aspects of room control:

• Room Settings: Access the "Settings & Privacy" tab to customize restrictions and features. You can set a password, block specific regions from accessing your room, modify private show settings, and enable your Fan Club.
• Blocking Regions: You have the option to block specific regions, states, or countries from viewing your room to maintain privacy. However, please note that location detection based on IP addresses may not be 100% accurate.
• Managing Viewers: You can restrict chat privileges or ban users from your room. Use the options provided to silence, kick, or ban users as per your requirements.
