MyFreeCams got a lot of models, which makes it harder to get a lot of customers.
So the money isn't that much.
You could do 1000-2000 a month. It's hard to get more than that. And that is only if you are lucky and a rich person liked you.
I would prefer that you also use Skype for more, beacuse the tokens there sucks. 1 token is 0,05 dollar. That means that 10 tokens are a half dollar.
So if someone sent you 100 tokens it's 5 dollars, and for them it is 10. And that says a lot about MyFreeCams.
So the money isn't that much.

u would have to do something really bad to get banned from cam4.. I see people do public shows, use really big toys and even bottles etc.. U can even do pee show there. So if u get banned there I'm like : something 'fishy' going on lol
Someone sent me 700 $, but it was fraud. I didn't notice it until later. Then they banned me. They said that they can ban me for any reason they want.

I love the general community there, although we are finding it hard to make tokens, we love it. Of course there are some problem grey users, but we have met a lot of nice ones too, im not sure we are the couple to convert them to registered paying users, but we surely would be a step in the right direction.
A lot of the broadcasters are very lovely too. Its so nice to be visited by much more popular people there than we are in our room. Just proving that the community there can be quite nice. Also any time I have had a problem or a question, i always received very fast responses. I was expecting days, but most times i get a response in an hour or two, sometimes within minutes if it is something simple.
So in our 2 and a half months there, i would rate CB very highly. I would like to make some more tokens there obviously, but that isn't really CB's fault that i'm not, its just that there are a lot of other skilled, and sexier people on there. And sometimes it's just dumb luck how a show can turn out, but all in all the whole experience is pretty good. We love it.

Streamates is so far my #1 site to stream on, I have been streaming from this site since Feb. 2015 and have moved my way up and become very successful. Although to become extremely successful and how to make your ranking as high as you can is very demanding.

You don't know for sure what you're signing up for as InternetModeling say they will get you working on one or more of their many sites or affiliates.
They signed me up with this one and Streamate.
Unlike the deal with SM via im, you do get a full 70% payout.
On this site the traffic is aggregated from many sites using the exact same interface and all featuring your profile.
When you click one of your online fans you can see which domain he is logging on from.
So GREAT traffic and you can see how many people are online, in which section of the site, how many are viewing you and how many tokens they all have.
I do like this feature but think that seeing the token balance of verified models should be turned off as customers perhaps shouldn't know what you have or don't have already.
You can also see how long people have been online for in one session which can give a good idea of whether they are spending tokens or just hanging out all day long...zzz.
The token system is hard work but people can give you tokens in public and you set 10, 20, 30 token preference for private shows.
No point cashing in your tokens (600 min) until last thing on a Thursday night as you still have to wait for InternetModeling to process payments on Fridays.
I have emailed support at InternetModeling re payment query and got a response within a couple of hours. It was blunt but told me what I needed to know.
They don't require that you use any encoder and seeing the site from the customers side this seems perfectly fine.
The models interface is fine when looking at or editing your account or profile but once you are logged on the screen gets really busy. I do hate 960px sites with busy backgroung imgs and with all the things to keep track of here; view up to four cams, constant popup chat from customers, live chat of other models and yourself camming, you really need to utilise the whole screen.
It is really scary that you might miss an invitation to private because the request pops up where other models are chatting (left) and not in very obvious text or in a box which would be more noticeable when your eyes are with your own chats (right). The faster they type the more quickly your invite will disappear off screen!
A lot of guys will ask you to view their cam (as if you're really there because you love cock, lol), but I have noticed a lot of girls charge 10 tokens for this and I think that makes sense because the customer will try to take your attention away from the rest of the room.
Lots of lonely guys just hang out here not realising that to you they are a customer so it's a good idea to keep tabs on your fans and favourites and note their habits and the frequency at which they refresh their tokens balance.
I would have given an extra star for payment but I hate the 600 token minimum.

I have only been camming for a couple of months and I started with Chatrecruit/xxXpanded as they are UK based and say they deposit payment via BACS weekly or fortnightly for UK models with a monthly option for those elsewhere.
The support pages mention 'bank charges' but advise that you must contact your bank to find out how much they charge. This is weird as I have never been charged for accepting deposits in GBP before.
Minimum payout is �50.00 GBP and having logged for at least 6h I have accrued just �15.82 for a total of 27 minutes with customers!
My biggest problem with them is requirements for pics. ALL of my uploads have been rejected with the reason that they are poor quality. These pics look fine on the other sites I now use and if Chatrecruit would accept them perhaps I would see more traffic there.
They actually suggest that you have a professional take your pics and it seems that many girls do as they all have REALLY super HD profile pics.
When setting up your profile you're required to make up diary entry which in my opinion is unbelievable (the silly stories are unbelievable ), not all camgirls have naughty secrets, my only secret is being a camgirl.
They have an HD streamer but it doesn't make a real difference to what customers see which is jittery cams with lag.
The interface from the model side is much better than some other sites but don't let that fool you because customers have issues seeing you stream properly.

I am giving a 1-Star overall, because before I could even complete the verification process they removed my account stating that "Several members reported your picture as not being you." Which is weird b/c it is MY picture that I took myself that day for that profile. They would not even let me prove to them it was me and said I could not contact them to fight the removal. So, like everybody else has said, dealing with support peeps at AW is akin to expecting customer service at Guantanamo Bay. That said, I think that they've had such a bad time with scammers that they've basically adopted a zero tolerance policy & err on the side that we are all fakes. Believe you me, I was accused of not being who I said I was, stealing pics from other sites and trying to deceive the AW users (and that was despite my already being an authenticated Eros advertiser and verified SkyPrivate model). All I can advise is to kill them with kindness and jump through every hurdle or else you won't be able to offer services there. OnceI was past that stuff, it has been a good experience on AW thus far. Lots of things to take advantage of if you want to (live cam, phone chat, private gallery for pay, etc.) Some items to note. If you're in PST like me, there's an 8 hour time diff with their UK clientele (which is the overwhelming majority of who I get coming into my room) so your camming time better take place before 6 pm PST cuz after that its crickets. I've yet to have a US visitor enter live cam with me. So that's the lay of the land. Ps. If anybody has suggestions for good US cam sites for a niche entertainer like myself (i.e., mature TGirl that's not a porn star level entertainer) please let me know since AW can't be my bread & butter due to items listed. I've been with SM since the beginning, and what used to be the best cam site, is now like the old PCamZ. They used to pay for advertising, which in turn meant the traffic was steady and most users would give tips or join a show. About six weeks ago the traffic dried up instantly, without any warning. I'm online most days, and have always been successful. After two weeks of troubleshooting my equipment and trying different ISP providers, and another location, I contacted support, which is a joke. Of course they sent me a link to their FAQ page and then a troubleshooting site. I called the owner on the phone, who is apparently no longer in the loop, his words, not mine, and he wasn't aware of any issues. He suggested I contact Liz, who is never helpful, and explain to her what the problem is. After two weeks of "the tech team is actively looking into resolving your issues", I get a very long winded response. They admitted my concerns were accurate and what I suggested the problem might be, which is a dead server, is not unfounded. After explaining the problem that I already found for them, they said it's out of their hands and they cannot do anything for me. Oh, but they suggested I try a different webcam.... that is their only suggestion because I tried 2 computers (a mac and a windows), 3 different internet providers and 2 locations.... so obviously, it is my in house equipment.
I follow enough SM ladies on Twitter to know that it's a site wide issue and not just isolated to my account. For weeks their have been weird glitches for some models and a lack of traffic ($$) for others.
I wonder if they've stopped putting money into the company and they're just not telling us because we'd all stop supporting SM and find a new place.
If you're new to the cam industry, I suggest you find several sites to use and don't waste your time on SM.

I've been in Ohio for the past year, haven't had any difficulty at all with my shows or signals. It's slower than usual right now, but it's summer so I'm not concerned. My regs are showing up, and I'm making a point to only work when there's a good chance I'll be busy (Sat/Sun mornings, and very late nights), so I'm doing ok.
I've read your blog post too, about your trials through all this. Is there any chance that there is a major service outage or problem on the signal paths between Texas & Seattle? Denver? Salt Lake? San Francisco? Reno? Vegas? or the like. Something where all your signals are being fucked with on the way to SM's Seattle servers? That's about all I can think of, because from Ohio to Seattle signal seems ok. I haven't experience any of what you're talking about. I know that probably doesn't make you feel any better =p But it gives another piece to the puzzle.
PS: I don't know that Shawn is in the day-to-day loop anymore because things around SM are changing so fast, with all the new programming for the mobile devices, it's hardly the same old site. Thank you for your long reply! I wondered if something was effecting my area, even though I've tried 3 providers, but SM said I'm the only Texas lady having issues. With that said, I've spoken to several ladies all over the states who are having the exact same problem. I'm not even making 1/4 what I used to bring in and it's been frustrating taking a hit like that. SM claims today that they are not blaming my ISP and are still actively working to find the problem, which tells me there is something going on. I agree with you that they don't have the knowledge needed to stay on top, but one would think as a business, that they would hire someone. But, that's just me thinking that with the money they make they should reinvest.
The summer months have always been slower, but working more hours has always allowed me to hit targets. The problem I have is no one is finding my room, unless I'm doing a TV show and then the cam site floods my room with 50 viewers.

CHEAP people on this site. Very ammature / beginner style I would personally say from my point of veiw. When you do get taken private you do make a decent amount but like i said cheap people so not many are willing to take you private or tip you.
