I just signed up with them yesterday/Sunday and I just checked my account tonight and they still have not approved my profile so that I can start working. Sigh How long did it take u to have ur account approved to start working? It's now been way over 24 hours and still nothing!

The chat is very heavy, it crashes a lot, they do not translate the website into other languages, and the support is dry, and most users want everything for free, it's not really a good site, maybe a few years from now.

I have some positives and a few negatives. I worked with my boyfriend on Chaturbate! We did goal shows with the Tip Menu app. We were even able to do strap-on goal shows. I'm glad that they have all these apps and bots.
Now I usually do solo shows on there and use lovense lush as well as tip menu on all in one app, usually i don't do goals. There are a few privates but a lot happens in public. I like the fact that CB is more about the public show and the clients are straightforward. To me that feels comfortable.

One option for the videos is to post the clip for sale on CB to entice viewers, but let them know that you will email them the full size file after they purchase if they leave their email. The high traffic on CB is great for selling photos and videos, you just have to send the good ones on your own. It's a hassle, but it can really increase your income. ^_^
Alexxx, I have been doing that, not sure if I got the idea from you or what. I uploaded galleries of my many videos with the description and price on the pic and trying to explain you can choose from these and pay with tokens in the description of us.. I got some buys and even though we were a couple it kinda slowed things, but still it's a good thing lol. Most don't understand what I wrote and don't understand when I try to tell them in plain English so the size limit still is an issue for me. Thanks for the tip!

I love CMD so much. Probably my favorite Independent site at the moment. I have met some of the most amazing regulars on CMD as well. It is super easy to use. The traffic is good I get new customers regularly without having to promote my CMD page much.

I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but CB is where I cut my teeth and is always where I go back to feel at home. Maybe it's just because I have established a pretty good fan base there, but I am incredibly comfortable there. I have never had a problem with my pay and support has always responded very quickly.
With that said the client base is dicey at best. My regulars and mods are amazing so I very rarely have to deal with beggars or scam artists, but the site is flooded with them.
All in all CB is a perfect starter site and easy to learn.

WORST site ever...didn't have much traffic but the few members they had were willing to pay..the problem is every time u requested a payment there was a huuuge delay...EVERY DAMN TIME until eventually they decided to don't send the payments at all.. daamn thieves that's what they are. This site has really cleaned up their act, and I absolutely am digging the new transition. The Traffic here is fantastic, as is the social community. Although I'm only rating the software 4 stars as I would love to be able to deck out my profile with more than text, but that is just my personal opinion. But all in all The support is great, very prompt in replying if somethings needed. Great site and especially if you stay consistent (just like any other site) You will see great results!

Hi Royall! Yes we doooo! As a new model that starts broadcasting you get 2 weeks top site placement plus the "new badge". There's also a tab at the top that filters New Cam Girls on our site. I would suggest broadcasting when you can set a schedule so you can get the most out of the 2 weeks. It's best to commit to 3-4 times a week in the first 2 weeks so you can win over your fans and create your followers. After that, you can include in your bio when you'll broadcast so viewers learn to trust you. ALSO - if you use social media you can let me know! I personally promote the models along with their link to drive traffic to their rooms.

Is the first site i ever worked with, has a very good traffic, no need to do sexual tease in public to get privates, by contrary i would say, as model you are pretty covered if you ever cut off the work, you wont find yourself with pics or videos on google, no camscore, long privates. The bad thing i have is the c2c option, freeze after 1 minute. Overall is still my main site after 7 years of doing webcam. The support is good but no live option, so a bit slow.

I do like the site, is pretty slow on traffic but you can still make some money on it. Payments are made in 24 hours, the support is a bit slow...Also the site give equal chance to all members to appear on front pages and members, most of them are nice and ready to charge up. I use it both being in public and/or being available.

This was the first site I ever worked and after 2+ years I can honestly say it's my favorite. Traffic is more consistent here than it is on any other site. They will sometimes hold contests that aren't run of the mill sales contests. You will actually get a prize if you put in the work regardless of how you place which is awesome. Support is timely but if you ask a question that can be answered by the guide then they likely won't respond. The software can be complicated if you're lacking in computer skills but instructions are otherwise straightforward. The traffic on this site is my favorite as you're required to put down credit card info when you sign up, so there are little to no freeloaders (you'll get the occasional cheap guy or a scammer though). Things have gotten slower since I've been on but there are still plenty of well-paying customers. The average Streamate model makes approximately $30/hr but if you're a good host and your appearance is on point then you'll easily make more.

One thing that is definitely worth noting: This site WILL record and re-upload your private sessions to porn sites and you will not see a dime of them. I honestly wish I had known this signing up but I'm 2 years in now so I don't really care. I know a lot of camsites do this but this site also takes 65% of everything so it just kind of adds insults to injury.
Actually on other sites like imlive.com or cams.com if you turn on option to record your private shows and if someone watch that video later he pays you per minute of watching video so you are earning even if you are offline and those sites not upload your videos on free porn sites. Streamate is not absolutely the worst. Even the option for geographic restrictions not work on some mirroring sites so it is useless.
And Stremate pays me only 30% so they are taking 70% in my case.

How do you get the pay per minute plug in to work on ur computer? Are u supposed to stay logged into Skype which I would think you would have too? When I am logged into Skype and try to log in to pay per minute software it keeps telling me my password is incorrect but it is the same password I am using for Skype and use same password for skyprivate?

Oh-Skyprivate plug in works now and reads me online since like last Aug or Sept when I had to switch my skype ID to my original out look one that uses my first and last name-Skyprivate always denied with there plug in my cam model name skype id: So to this day those fuck tards on CMD, SP & LCMS etc see my 1st & last name to add me to there skype: smh

I have waited to write a review until I gave CB a full 6 months. I have NEVER been a cam girl before and this is my first and only site I have worked on.
It has been a lot of fun and I have made great money! I work about 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I really had no idea what I was doing and some nice fans reached out and gave me tips.
I love the daily payouts, the traffic too. The support could be better. The only issue I have had was I did a car show in a parking lot and my account ended up banned for 24 hours. I was new and did not know! It took a while for them to help me out. But besides that it's been great. The fans have been awesome and send me things from wishlist.

Apart from 4 - 5 days when I streamed with my boyfriend when we had the most 500 visitors and a few paying members I had maximum 50 visitors day by day on the 4 hour sessions.
In the last few days even worse 18 to 20 visitors, like something stopped them getting in the room. To be clear this happened by the time I stream on other sources too where the visits goes high really fast. When I perform here on Chaturbate the one who has definitely more traffic than other sources, nothing happened.
It is not about complaining here, it is ABOUT understanding what's happening.
I saw many NEW tagged models and they get a lot of visitors, but for me had non or little effect.
I am confident with myself and I am not overestimating me or that I am simply entitled to it!
I know is hard work.
Who else experienced this?
Any advice is welcome.

Yes - I have had issues getting traffic too. For a while, it was no more than 15 people max. It was so discouraging. Then I made some changes, and get 30-50 people on average now. But it has so many factors: find out when you get the most viewers, try to only go on then. Have the best lighting you can (professional if possible) and an HD cam, so it says "HD" on CB on your thumbnail when you are live. That is a place to start, and from there I need to work on standing my ground I suppose and not changing my prices. Hang in there on slow days, we all have them. I totally feel you 
This is exactly what is happening to make. I could make $100 easily. Now, I am making $25. Something stopped them to get to my room. I’m having no viewers.. no traffic at all. While there are “NEW” models in the front page doing absolutely nothing with 1000 viewers! Something on cb cuts the traffic for us after a while. I’m not complaining, it’s a great website, but I need to understand what’s going on. How are you doing now since u posted this?
